Patch series "slub_debug fixes and improvements". The slub_debug kernel boot parameter can either apply a single set of options to all caches or a list of caches. There is a use case where debugging is applied for all caches and then disabled at runtime for specific caches, for performance and memory consumption reasons [1]. As runtime changes are dangerous, extend the boot parameter syntax so that multiple blocks of either global or slab-specific options can be specified, with blocks delimited by ';'. This will also support the use case of [1] without runtime changes. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
