[ Upstream commitdbaca8e56e] The commit7d93aecdb5("spi: Add generic support for unused native cs with cs-gpios") excludes the valid case for the controllers that doesn't need to switch native CS in order to perform the transfer, i.e. when 0 native ... ... <n> - 1 native <n> GPIO <n> + 1 GPIO ... ... where <n> defines maximum of native CSs supported by the controller. To allow this, bail out from spi_get_gpio_descs() conditionally for the controllers which explicitly marked with SPI_MASTER_GPIO_SS. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
