commitf6a1892585upstream. The kernel built with MCRUSOE is unbootable on Transmeta Crusoe. It shows the following error message: This kernel requires an i686 CPU, but only detected an i586 CPU. Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU. Remove MCRUSOE from the condition introduced in commit in Fixes, effectively changing X86_MINIMUM_CPU_FAMILY back to 5 on that machine, which matches the CPU family given by CPUID. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
