mips uses a top-down layout by default that exactly fits the generic functions, so get rid of arch specific code and use the generic version by selecting ARCH_WANT_DEFAULT_TOPDOWN_MMAP_LAYOUT. As ARCH_WANT_DEFAULT_TOPDOWN_MMAP_LAYOUT selects ARCH_HAS_ELF_RANDOMIZE, use the generic version of arch_randomize_brk since it also fits. Note that this commit also removes the possibility for mips to have elf randomization and no MMU: without MMU, the security added by randomization is worth nothing. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
