[ Upstream commited85891a27] When a WMI device besides the first one somehow fails to register, retval is returned while still containing a negative error code. This causes the ACPI device fail to probe, leaving behind zombie WMI devices leading to various errors later. Handle the single error path separately and return 0 unconditionally after trying to register all WMI devices to solve the issue. Also continue to register WMI devices even if some fail to allocate memory. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
