[ Upstream commit5df8ecfe36] Drop the explicit check on the extended CPUID level in cpu_has_svm(), the kernel's cached CPUID info will leave the entire SVM leaf unset if said leaf is not supported by hardware. Prior to using cached information, the check was needed to avoid false positives due to Intel's rather crazy CPUID behavior of returning the values of the maximum supported leaf if the specified leaf is unsupported. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
