Commit2825a7f907("nfsd4: allow encoding across page boundaries") added an explicit computation of the remaining length in the rq_res XDR buffer. The computation appears to suffer from an "off-by-one" bug. Because buflen is too large by one page, XDR encoding can run off the end of the send buffer by eventually trying to use the struct page address in rq_page_end, which always contains NULL. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
