commit4b017e59f0upstream. Amadeusz reports KASAN use-after-free errors introduced by commit3881ee0b1e("efi: avoid efivars layer when loading SSDTs from variables"). The problem appears to be that the memory that holds the new ACPI table is now freed unconditionally, instead of only when the ACPI core reported a failure to load the table. So let's fix this, by omitting the kfree() on success. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
