TWx Linux Repository
The opening comment mark '/**' is used for kernel-doc comments. There are certain comments in include/linux/fsl/guts.h which follows this syntax, but the content inside does not comply with kernel-doc. E.g., opening comment for "Freecale 85xx and 86xx Global Utilties register set" follows kernel-doc syntax(i.e., '/**'), but the content inside does not comply with any kernel-doc specification (function, struct, etc). This causes unwelcomed warning from kernel-doc: "warning: expecting prototype for Freecale 85xx and 86xx Global Utilties register set(). Prototype was for __FSL_GUTS_H__() instead" Replace all such comment occurrences with general comment format, i.e. '/*' to pervent kernel-doc from parsing these. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
