Some hardware need some time to switch from a bus to another. This can cause the first transfers following the selection of a bus to fail. There is no way to configure this kind of waiting time in the driver. Add support for the 'settle-time-us' device-tree property. When set, the i2c_mux_gpio_select() applies a delay before returning, leaving enough time to the hardware to switch to the new bus. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
