Send and Receive completion is handled on a single CPU selected at the time each Completion Queue is allocated. Typically this is when an initiator instantiates an RDMA transport, or when a target accepts an RDMA connection. Some ULPs cannot open a connection per CPU to spread completion workload across available CPUs and MSI vectors. For such ULPs, provide an API that allows the RDMA core to select a completion vector based on the device's complement of available comp_vecs. ULPs that invoke ib_alloc_cq() with only comp_vector 0 are converted to use the new API so that their completion workloads interfere less with each other. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
